500 gms semolina
500 grams sugar(sugar subsittute)
1 tsp rose essence/almond essence
3 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp coarsely grounded cardamom seeds
1 can(12-15 oz)thick coconut milk
Method::
Add melted butter to semolina (rava).Add cardamoms and enough coconut milk to form a stiff dough. Make sugar syrup. Add 1 cup water to the sugar and heat to form a sugar syrup. Remove from the heat and mix in essence and keep ti warm. Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten out each ball on a greased fork and roll it backwards firmly leaving the lines of the fork on the outside. Deep fry to a golden brown color. Drain and toss into the syrup. When the syrup begins to dry, separate the kuls kuls from each other and place it on a platter. Store in airtight container when cold.
