Ingredients: kande bhaje/khanda bhujiya




khanda bhujiya/khande bhaje

2 medium sized onions(pyaaz)cut into half, then cut lengthwise
1/2 cup bengal gram(besan)
1/2 tblsp turmeric
1/2 tblsp cumin powder
1/2 tblsp corriander powder
1 tblsp red chilli powder
1/4 cup water to make a desired consistency mix
2 tblsp vegetable oil to fry
Salt to taste

 


 



Method:
  • Mix all the above with the water to a desired consistency. Can't be too gooyie or running
  • Heat oil in a skillet or pan.
  • When the oil is hot, make a small ball of the mix and drop in the oil, till they turn golden brown on each side.3 minutes each side.
  • Can be served hot with chutney or tomato ketchup
