Ingredients: hara pyaaz aur split moong dal
- 1 bundle green onions(green scallions) hara pyaaz cut in 1/2 inch
- 1 medium onion
- 1/4 cup split moong dal
- 1 medium tomato
- 1/2 tblsp of garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp of garlic paste
- 1/2 tblsp of turmeric powder
- 1/2 tblsp of chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp of cumin powder
- 4 tblsp of vegetable oil
- salt to taste
Preparation:
- Sautee onions in a vegetable oil in a pan tll they are light golden brown . Add ginge, garlic paste and tomato and sautee for 3 seconds. Then add rest of the ingredients, except scallions and moong dal. After 5 seconds add moong dal and sautee for 10 minutes. Then add scallions, till they are cook. Add salt to taste.
- Can be served with chappati(indian bread)also called roti or white rice.
