mangalorean beef chili fry




Ingredients

2 lbs. Lean beef
3 medium onions cut lengthwise
2 green bell peppers cut lengthwise
2 potatoes cut lengthwise
2 carrots cut lengthwise
¼ tsp. Chili powder
¼ tsp, turmeric powder
¼ tsp. Pepper powder
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Chopped cilantro to garnish





   

.Method:

Cut beef into 2” stripes, wash and pressure-cook with 2 green chilies, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, chopped 2 tsp. ginger - garlic paste and salt. In a skillet add 2 tblsp. Olive oil and fry the cooked meat with its water. Add a pinch of each spices mentioned in the ingredients. Fry the meat until it turns brown. Transfer the fried meat into a large dish. Fry the cut onions, bell peppers and carrots separately, while frying add a pinch of each spice. Transfer the fried ingredients to meat dish. Deep-fry the cut potatoes in oil. Mix all the fried ingredients well. Garnish with chopped cilantro
